Lead Pastor
A gifted communicator, Pastor Thom has a unique ability to teach the ways and words of God with passion and authenticity. He has dedicated his life to creating a church environment that equips and launches perpetual generations for radical service to Christ.
Nathan Braun
Executive Pastor
Nathan oversees operations at New Hope along with our connect and outreach ministries. He has a passion for connecting with each and every person that walks through the doors and making them feel like family.
Jay Werner
Pastor of Discipleship
Jay oversees our Discipleship ministries here at New Hope. Passionate about discipleship, He's ready to help you get connected with a life group and offer resources as you go deeper in your walk with Christ.
Tovi & Lindi Delport
Worship Pastors
Tovi & Lindi have been leading worship since the age of 16. They have led many worship teams all over their home country, South Africa. Worship is their greatest passion and they work tirelessly to help prepare and lead us in worship.
Sarah Braun
Pastor of Family Ministries
Always on the move, Sarah is passionate about theology and education. She supports the Family Ministry Leaders of New Hope Kids, Jr. and Sr. Youth, along with their parents to equip our children with the truth of God’s word .
Matt Keith
Site Pastor - New Hope West
Matt is passionate about finding solutions. As a result, you'll find him working with our various ministries, supporting our amazing volunteers, and helping to maintain and upgrade our technology. On Sundays, you'll find him serving at New Hope West.
Herm and Cheryl Plett
Pastors of Pastoral Care
Pastor Herm and Cheryl come with years of Pastoral Care Experience and have a heart to pray with and for others. Together they bring a heart posture of love, acceptance, encouragement and a willingness to listen and walk alongside the community at New Hope.
Jordan Taylor
Pastor of Young Adults
Jordan brings years of experience in shepherding and pastoring people, and brings this experience to your Young Adults Ministry.

Director of Finance & Human Resources
Jordan manages budgeting, reporting, and human resources with integrity and care. He has a heart for the financial well-being of his church community.
Terra Keith
Executive Assistant
Terra Works alongside our Executive Pastor, ensuring he is ready for whatever the day brings. You'll find Terra working with the executive team.
Heather Palaniuk
Director of Jr. Youth
Heather supports our fantastic team of Jr. Youth Leaders as they provide Life Groups and ridiculously awesome activities for students grades 5-8.
David Braun
Technical Director
David oversees all technical and media equipment for all related ministries across all current and future Campuses. With a passion for leading teams that operate and care for all the equipment needed to make church happen, David is always on hand to help support our incredible ministries .
Emily Robins
Director of First Impressions
If you are new to our church, Emily is likely one of the first people you’ll meet, as she makes it a personal mission to ensure every person who walks through the door is welcomed and feels at home.
Michele Koch
New Hope Kids Events Coordinator
Michele oversees our Day Camp, Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with Santa events and is passionate about children getting to know Jesus for the first time and inviting volunteers to love and serve Jesus through these mission events!
Ethan Braun
Director of Sr. Youth
Ethan gives leadership to our Sr. Youth ministry, supporting and coaching his amazing team of volunteers on Tuesday nights and supporting Life Groups throughout the week. He works to support students directly in their schools throughout the week.
Allan McGrath
Manager of Administration
Allan has a passion for process and creating efficiencies within our systems so that our team has more time to invest in people. He'll be one of the first faces you see when coming through the doors at First Street and He'll be on hand to help answer any of your questions.
Ashley Young
Director of Worship
Ashley supports our Worship Pastors at all worship services at our current and future New Hope campuses. One of her main duties is to equip and support kids, youth and Young Adult worship services. She is a talented musician and vocalist and you can tell she has a passion for Jesus where ever she leads.
Jay Young
Director of Young Adults
Jay has a heart and passion to shepherd and pastor people toward Jesus. Currently, you'll find Jay working with our amazing Young Adults volunteers, supporting the amazing ministry happening on Thursday nights.
Andrea Hall
Administrator - Evangelism
During the week you’ll find Andrea coordinating our events. She oversees all behind the scenes planning for everything from vision briefings to big events, working hard to keep us connected to each other and our community.
Chris Triebe
Property and Projects Director
Chris brings years of project and facility management to our team. Working closely with our Property Manager, Chris ensures that our facilities and properties are ready to welcome everyone to New Hope.
Petra Buys
Equipping Team Support Intern
Petra supports all of our Family ministry volunteers with gifts of organizing and administration. You can find her supporting the Prep Team as they get everything ready for NHKids, Jr & Sr Youth and more! She’s a supportive presence at Jr & Sr Youth as a resident technical wizard and Site Leader.
Linnaya Thiessen
Director of NHKids
Linnaya brings years of experience as one of our New Hope Kids Lead volunteers. Linnaya works every week, preparing and equipping our amazing teams to welcome and teach little ones each Sunday.
Kathleen Dueck
Book Keeper
Kathleen works to make sure that our resources are ready to invest in Kingdom work. You'll find her crunching numbers and keeping us all on track.
Claire Buys
NHKids Assistant Coordinator
Claire works alongside our amazing New Hope Kids volunteers and prepares each week to support our amazing teams as they welcome and teach little ones each Sunday at our New Hope West location.
Sydney Johnston
Equipping Support Intern
Sydney is working with Ethan to implement our Sr Youth program and to support our Jr Youth team. She also works with all our ministries on volunteer certification and tracking.
